Our information about Islam is too limited
BFnews: One of the prominent Swiss bishops said: Even if our speed for accomplishing the goal of inter-religions dialogue is not so fast but we have to do it in the best way.

Pier Giacomo Grampa Swiss bishop underlined in the third conference of the interfaith dialogue titled "Human Dignity in Islam and Christianity": We have to consider the quality of the inter-religions dialogues and think about their effects and positive results.

He underscored: Churches should endorse and support the inter-religions dialogues without hesitation because none of the divine religions is the enemy of Christianity.

He added: In some cases it is hard to figure out the truth. But we should not let these hardships eschew human being from reaching the truth.


The Swiss bishop underlined: Having conversation and dialogue is useful when there is freedom for saying our ideas.

Third conference of the interfaith dialogue was held 9-11 January 2011 in the Iranian capital Tehran.
